Rough Terrain Masted Forklift Training Course

Rough terrain forklifts are usually diesel-powered and built for durability, making them a key asset in environments where weather and surface conditions vary. They handle everything from pallets of bricks to bales of hay with ease.

Train on your site, with your machine

Our Rough Terrain Masted Forklift Training Course is delivered on-site, using your own machine and operating conditions to give delegates relevant, hands-on experience. The course meets ITSSAR standards and can be tailored to your site’s layout and load types.

The session starts with a health and safety briefing and safety video before moving into practical training. We recommend having empty pallets available for practice exercises.

We offer four course options depending on experience:

• Novice Course – 3 days (for 1 delegate) or 4 days (for 2–5 delegates)
• Experienced Operator Course – 2 days
• Refresher Course – 1 day
• Conversion Course – 2 days

All successful candidates will receive a forklift truck certificate. 

This course is ideal for teams working in challenging environments where safety, confidence, and equipment control are essential.
