Back at Vestas! More Hands-On Scissor Lift Training with Wight Training Services

Tim Benton returns to Vestas on the Isle of Wight, this time helping Evidance and John develop their scissor lift operating skills.

TL;DR

• Tim Benton returns to Vestas for another training session.
• Evidance and John take part in practical scissor lift training.
• Training uses the Genie GS-2632 on site.
• Real workplace conditions make for relevant, practical learning.

Another Day, Another Lift at Vestas!

It's becoming a familiar destination for Tim Benton of Wight Training Services! Following his scissor lift refresher training visit to Vestas in October, Tim was back again, this time working with Evidance and John.

The equipment of choice was once again the Genie GS-2632 scissor lift, with training taking place in Vestas' busy warehouse environment on the Isle of Wight.

Putting Skills into Practice

With tall storage racking, narrow aisles and other workplace equipment to consider, Vestas provides a realistic setting for learning how to operate a scissor lift safely.

The session provided an opportunity to focus on safe operation, awareness of surrounding hazards and working confidently at height.

And that's one of the big advantages of on-site training. Rather than learning somewhere unfamiliar, operators gain practical experience with the equipment and surroundings they'll encounter at work.

Keeping Safety Moving at Vestas

It's always good to be invited back to a workplace where training remains a priority.

A big thanks to Evidance and John for taking part, and to Vestas for welcoming Tim back once again!
